Global Health Fellows
The Global Health Academy houses the Baylor Global Health Student Network and the Global Health Fellows Program. The Global Health Fellows program is a highly competitive co-curricular program designed to attract ambitious and committed students from diverse fields of study and prepare them to address the complex questions and challenges that will face the field of global health in the future. It consists of 7-10 highly committed second- or third-year students who will have access to global health research opportunities such as summer internships, resources, and faculty mentorship.
During their one-semester term, Global Health Fellows will be expected to:
Complete a Longitudinal Scholarly Project
The Global Health Fellows program will be centered around a year-long scholarly project that will involve mentorship from faculty. The collaborative group projects will be built around students’ global health interests.
Participate in Baylor Global Health Fellowship Journal Clubs
Global Health Journal Clubs, held on a monthly basis, will allow faculty, Fellows, and the greater undergraduate student body to connect regularly. Global Health Fellows will take-turns presenting at these journal club events throughout the semester.
