PLEASE NOTE 05/01/2020: In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, all events will be virtual until it is deemed safe to meet in person and on-campus by Baylor University. Check the Baylor University Coronavirus Covid-19 Information Page for the latest information. We are still ACTIVELY working with students and employers to provide strong recruiting connections during this time.

Recruiting Opportunities include the following:
Note: All events will be promoted through Handshake and numerous campus channels.
Employer Spotlights – One of our newest events is an Employer Spotlight, which is taking the place of in-person lobby tables. These events have a lot of flexibility in that the employer can send videos, print materials, cover a variety of topics, and more. The Spotlight will be posted in Handshake for a week and employers will have the opportunities to host live chats with students.
Information Sessions – Our most popular event type is a Virtual Information Session. Recruiters present information about the company, positions available, and any other pertinent material to students through the virtual platform of their choice. The event will be scheduled through Handshake and will include a link for the students to register. When creating the event in Handshake, please include as much information as possible so our office knows which students will be most interested.
Interviews and Meet & Greets – Currently, we are able to host interviews on campus. To request a date, please use Handshake or call our office for availability. We will ensure that social distancing guidelines are maintained throughout the process. If, however, you would prefer to host interviews virtually that is an option as well. When requesting the interviews, please let us know if you will use a virtual platform or if the interview will be a phone call.
Career Day - New this semester is our campus-wide career fair; Virtual Career Day - Fall 2020 (in lieu of an in-person event). Hosting the event on-line allows us to include even more employers than before and offer more positions and internships to a wider array of majors. Please click here for more information.
Classroom presentations - Classroom presentations are a great way for employers to present about their company to a small or large group at once. Please let us know if you would like to present in a class, and what major(s) you want to target. Some classes are online only this semester, so we may have limited availability with this option.
How do I get started for virtual recruiting? With all of these events you may be wondering how to schedule them. The best way to schedule most of the events is through Handshake. Go to your Handshake employer page and select Create an Event or Request and Interview. There you will follow step-by-step guidelines. Please add as much information as you can about your request.
