Prior to entering the software business in 2008, Mark Scott worked as a Solution Engineer and Direct Contributor for several internet and web-based marketing companies. As of March 2021, Mark is the Director of Strategic Business Development for Spectrum’s strategic markets group, where he is building a sales team from scratch.

His desire to learn and continually grow is showcased by his impressive educational accomplishments. Mark has a B.S. In Political Science and Abnormal Psychology from Central Michigan University, a Masters in Pastoral Leadership and Organizational Behavior from Loyola Institute for Ministry at Loyola University New Orleans, and is currently pursuing a Doctorate of Strategic Leadership from Regent University.

As an innovative, aggressive, and results-oriented sales leader with over 20 years of experience exceeding sales and growth quotas, Mark specializes in building SDR teams from scratch. Mark advises his team members and others to “Be kind, curious and humble. Be the one who askes the most questions. Never stop learning. Growth Mindset is the way.” His commitment to servant leadership has significantly impacted his life both personally and professionally.
