Jessica Rush

Center for Professional Selling

Headshot of Jessica Rush

Jessica Rush enjoys working at the intersection of human resources, marketing and technology. She spent over 14 years leading sales and marketing teams for HR technology and recruitment media platforms before joining Paradox, where she is currently the Chief Talent Officer.

Beginning her career in community relations and marketing partnerships, Jessica quickly transitioned to a sales leadership role. Launching a local sales office, she focused on building a robust client-base while growing and developing a sales team. “Throughout my career, it has been highly rewarding to see the people who I’ve hired, or who have been on my team, grow and build successful careers and accomplish incredible things.”

At Paradox, Jessica is responsible for culture, talent acquisition, and development efforts as the company continues to grow and scale both the organization and its teams. She works collaboratively with the leadership team and managers, helping Paradox’s employees grow personally and professionally, as well as delivering successful business results.

Jessica received a BA in Psychology from Washington University in St. Louis and later completed an executive MBA at Northwestern University. Involved in the alumni associations for both schools, she remains connected with her professors and classmates. As an MBA graduate, she is able to audit classes annually which is an incredible resource for ongoing professional development. She also recently joined The Advisory Council for the Anita M. Perlman Women’s Leadership Initiative.

Jessica currently lives with her husband and two daughters, aged 5 and 7, in Chicago, IL. “They amaze me in wonderful ways on a regular basis and I'm proud of the strong, smart, kind, and creative people that they are!”

Her advice for ProSales students: “Sales is about helping people. When you genuinely care about understanding your clients and helping them have success, you will inevitably have success, as well. Get better every day and continue to learn and grow as a professional.”
