For the past 15 years, Clint Edens has been with Patterson Dental, a leading provider of supplies, technology, service, and support to dental practices. Working his way up from an outside sales role to leadership, he currently serves as a Regional President, responsible for $3.2M in business.

“On a daily basis, I am involved in developing long term growth strategies, while managing current revenue and profitability execution with general managers and vendors.” His organization includes 13 branch locations and over 420 cross-functional employees, including general managers, operations managers, sales reps, and service technicians. He provides leadership for procurement, customer call centers, logistics, and finance.

Clint graduated from Baylor University with a BBA in Management. He accepted his first position with Aerotek in Austin, TX as a personnel recruiter. Quickly progressing to outside sales, he was then promoted to start a new sales division, Aerotek Scientific in Houston. “Throughout my early career, I sought opportunities to expand my sales ability and learn how to sell in more complex environments.”

Working during college at FedEx to make much-needed money, he was an active member of his fraternity, Phi Delta Theta, and also played soccer for the Baylor men’s club team. Outside of work, Clint is a member of the Young President’s Organization, an exclusive global leadership community, where he has learned a great deal from peers in other industries, propelling his professional development. He is married to his high school sweetheart and has two amazing kids.

Clint’s encouragement to current ProSales students is to “focus on making personal connections, build relationships, help create solutions, and learn how to sell value above and beyond price. It took me many years to learn the latter.”
