Finance Professor Named TIAA-CREF Institute Fellow

Professor William Reichenstein, CFA, has been honored as a TIAA-CREF Institute Fellow. Reichenstein serves as the Pat and Thomas R. Powers Chair in Investment Management for the finance department.

The TIAA-CREF Institute, based in New York, serves as a facilitator of research and information for financial issues. The Institute bridges higher education with the business of TIAA-CREF. The Fellows Program is significant to the development of the Institute and its vision for enhancing ideas in financial security.

As a Fellow, Reichenstein joins a notable group of intellectual leaders who help support 15,000 establishments and over three million individuals who depend on the Institute for building financial security.

Reichenstein is an associate editor of Journal of Investing and serves on several editorial boards for financial planning and education journals. He is past president of the Southwestern Finance Association. He has also served on the Review Board of the Research Foundation of the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts.

Reichenstein has won various awards in research including Researcher of the Year for Baylor in 1999, and has written over 90 articles for academic and professional journals.
