Trey Hagins has been appointed as director of Development for Baylor University's Hankamer School of Business. In his new role, Hagins will cultivate and steward relationships with constituents to acquire major gifts in support of the business school.

"Trey will help us build support for the many exciting and important programs at the Business School," said dean Terry Maness. Fundraising is in progress for a new Paul L. Foster Campus for Business and Innovation, which will house the Hankamer School of Business, on the Baylor campus.

Previously, Hagins focused on fundraising for the Student Life and Library units and the West Coast territory for Baylor.

"Trey has been an instrumental part of the Development team since returning to his alma mater in 2009 and will continue to be an asset to Baylor and the division as he partners with Dean Terry Maness and Dusty Bedwell on fundraising for the Business School," said Ken Hall, senior vice president for University Development.

Before joining Baylor, Hagins was employed at Dell for nine years, where he started as a sales representative and was promoted to progressively higher levels of responsibility within the company. When he left Dell, he was the Microsoft Brand manager, accountable for discovering and retaining customers and partnering with Microsoft field managers on account strategies.

Hagins graduated with a BBA in 2000 and an MBA in 2007, both from Baylor. He celebrates his thirteenth wedding anniversary this month with his high school sweetheart, Liz, who also graduated from Baylor in 2000; they have two children, Robert and Kate. Trey is a football letter winner and currently serves on boards for Project Restoration Ministry, Midway ISD Education Foundation and Legacy Church Ministries. In addition, he is the advisor for Kappa Sigma Fraternity and on the volunteer committee for the Baylor Bear Foundation and Baylor "B" Association.
