Merit-based scholarships are awarded primarily on the basis of college academic success or other leadership criteria. Historical data indicates that students with a 3.90 or lower cumulative GPA are rarely awarded merit-based scholarships.
Instructions: To be eligible for merit-based scholarships in the Fall 2023/Spring 2024 academic year, a student must be:
- Admitted to the Hankamer School of Business, and
- Have 60 hours of credit earned at Baylor, or
- 30 hours of credit earned at Baylor, with at least 90 total hours of credit toward a Baylor degree
Students may apply for HSB merit-based scholarships during the semester they plan to complete the above requirements. Students who apply and are unable to meet the requirements are not awarded scholarships.
Next, please complete the application below by 5 pm on March 1st. Scholarship Committee recommendations are forwarded to the Student Financial Aid Office for final assignment. Award notifications are sent by the end of the Spring semester for use the following academic year.
