Gary Hufbauer

Gary Clyde Hufbauer currently serves on the research staff at the Institute for International Economics as Reginald Jones Senior Fellow. He was previously the Marcus Wallenberg Professor of International Financial Diplomacy at Georgetown University. Hufbauer has also worked in the U.S. Treasury Department. He holds an A.B. from Harvard College, a Ph.D. in economics from King's College at Cambridge University, and a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center. Hufbauer has written on international trade, investment and tax issues. His publications include World Capital Markets (co-author, 2001) and NAFTA Revisited: Achievements and Challenges (co-author, 2005).
