Srikanth Saripalli is the Co-Director for Center for Autonomous Vehicles and Sensor Systems (CANVASS) at Texas A&M University. His research focuses on robotic systems, particularly in air and ground vehicles and necessary foundations in perception, planning and control for this domain. Dr. Saripalli is a Senior Member of Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and a Member of American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA). He is a session chair for the 2018 American Helicopter Society Unmanned VTOL and RotorCraft Forum, and was Program Chair for the 2015 International Conference on Unmanned Aerial Systems 2015. In his lab, he is developing fleets of electric autonomous vehicles that have been deployed on a hotel campus and are being deployed on the campus of Texas A&M. He holds a B.E. (Honors) in Mechanical Engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology and Sciences; and MS and PhD degrees in Computer Science from the University of Southern California.
