If you have always wanted to go on the European Business Seminar -- the best study abroad program on the planet --we will be accepting applications soon for this upcoming summer (2022)!
The dates for the program this year are June 3rd - July 27th, 2022. We return to the US in time for you to begin Summer II courses or begin a summer internship.
We begin in Rome (including Vatican City), then Florence, the Tuscany region, Modena, Bologna, Padova, Verona, Venice, and other places in Italy that I'm probably forgetting, LOL, then Innsbruck, Austria, then Salzburg, Austria, then Munich, Germany, then Dingolfing, Germany, then Lausanne, Switzerland, then Broc, Switzerland, then Paris, France, then the Normandy region of France, then London, England, then Solihul, England, then Coventry, England, then back to London for departure back to the US!
Please spend a few minutes looking over our various pages (including the Gabbino video and, yes, our visit there each year is just as picturesque as the video!) and, after reviewing these pages, if you have any questions about the program, please do not hesitate to contact Dr. Easley by cell (voice or text) at 254-723-1673, including nights or weekends -- even right now. And -- please encourage your parents to contact me should they have any questions! E-mail is firstname.lastname@example.org

There is no doubt in my mind that I picked the best study abroad trip in terms of quality and value. The amount of cities and businesses we visited in such a short time was incredible; every day was designed to maximize our time. Traveling by private tour coaches was one of my favorite features of the trip. I believe I saw more of Europe simply by looking out of the window of the coaches as we drove from city to city than most tourists are able to see by taking a train or flying.
I know I could not have picked a better study abroad trip for what I wanted to see and experience. Staying in four-star hotels, having transportation passes given to us in each city, a detailed itinerary and exclusive visits to companies I knew little about, was fantastic. Dr. Easley, thank you for all you do and for sponsoring this trip, you were on point when you told us this trip would “change our lives.” I learned so much about myself, what I think of different cultures and ways of life, and how I want to travel more in the future. I have a friend who plans on going on this trip next summer, and I cannot wait to tell her about my experiences and give her advice on where to go during free time. I will cherish these memories forever!

I am beyond thankful that I was able to go on this trip. I could not have asked for a better experience exploring Europe. It was the perfect amount of time and one more day would have been too much and one less day not enough. I loved the activities we did as a group. I enjoyed bonding with people who went to my same school, yet were people I wouldn't necessarily hang out with before. There is something so special about traveling half way around the world with a group of people that will bond those people for a very long time. The professors were amazing and so much fun to hang out with, easy to communicate with and great people to have on the trip. I could not be happier that I went on this trip.

Ever since I was a little girl my father has always talked fondly about his experience and memories of the European Business Seminar back in 1985 and told me when I came to Baylor that this was definitely the study abroad program I had to do. You should always listen to your parents (mostly) because he sure wasn’t wrong with that piece of advice. The European Business Seminar was one of my most memorable experiences of my college career so far. What better way to take classes, meet new friends, and see the most historical European sights than with a whole troop of Baylor Bears!
Alicia Gasser, Entrepreneurship
My experience in Europe is everything I could have wished it to be and more. From the visits, to the sightseeing, to our European Business Seminar group and, of course, the food, I can truly say that I am more knowledgeable about what is beyond the ‘walls’ of our home country. I never thought about the importance of understanding other cultures or business operations in different countries, but now I have a whole new appreciation for broadening my horizons and becoming more cultured. So much so that I am seriously considering adding International Business to my major program. And whether I choose to pursue my life or business ventures across the pond or here in the USA, it is an important skill to be able to understand the similarities and differences of businesses, networks, and the people around the world. I am forever thankful for my peers and the professors who guided us along our journey as not only did I learn from our experiences, but also from our European Business Seminar ‘family.’ The Baylor European Business Seminar is a trip that I will never forget, experiences that I will forever learn from, and friends that I will always cherish.
Studying abroad is something that every student dreams of doing. My experience studying abroad on the European Business Seminar trip this summer was nothing short of incredible. I feel blessed to have had the opportunity to go on the trip, as it was better than I could have imagined. I grew so much as a person and formed relationships that I will have for the rest of my life. Every college student should have to study abroad because it is a once in a lifetime experience that teaches hands-on about the world that we live in. I am so glad that I went on European Business Seminar and I would not give up the memories for anything in the world.

When Dr. Easley came into my class and told of the European Business Seminar I thought it sounded “too good to be true.” After going on the trip it was a once in a lifetime experience that I am so glad I didn’t pass up. When people first look at the price it seems really expensive, but as cheesy as it sounds you cannot put a price tag on all of the experiences and connections we made with so many businesses. I felt that the program did exactly what it was supposed to and more. I left feeling like I knew more about international business and marketing than I ever could have learned in a classroom.
More than just the business and places we got to see was all the relationships that we formed so quickly with everyone on the program. It was like Matt said, “accelerated friendship.” It was such a diverse group of people that never would have been able to meet at Baylor and it is great that we all got to experience Europe and get to spend so much time with each other. It was also a great time to get to know professors because it is sometimes intimidating to go to office hours and get to know professors. I would now choose any of the professors on the trip first when I am registering for classes.
Dr. Easley, I want to thank you again for organizing such an amazing trip! I will remember it for the rest of my life, no doubt. I am very glad to have you as a contact now, along with every other person I got to know on the trip. My trip was the trip of a lifetime. I am ridiculously thankful for the friends I made… the friends I made in students as well as in the staff that accompanied us. We were treated like complete royalty. Driving an exotic car through the streets of Italy felt like a dream. Singing “That Good Ole Baylor Line” with 50 friends on the Seine River with 100 bystanders watching was some of the most fun I’ve ever had. Being served a 15 course meal in Florence, a 5 star meal in the hills of Tuscany, touring a 12th century wine cellar, dinner underneath the Duomo, dancing with strangers on the streets of Munch, touring old castles in Switzerland… I could go on and on. I’d STRONGLY recommend this trip to anyone at Baylor, business major or not.
The European Business Seminar was a once in a lifetime experience and I am grateful to have been a part of it. I would not have been able to duplicate this opportunity on my own: the sheer number of companies and the exposure to top corporate personnel was extraordinary.

It is not an exaggeration when I say this was the trip of a lifetime. I thought that the itinerary looked exhausting and was way too much to pack into twenty-four hours a day but, boy, was I wrong! I was truly amazed at how much I enjoyed cities that before, I had never hear of (but now will never forget) such as Innsbruck, Austria and Lausanne, Switzerland. Originally, while in Rome, I thought to myself, “Wow, it cannot get any better than this. The rest of the trip will be a letdown.” I found I was vastly mistaken – it seemed like each city was better than the one before. It was especially exciting visit the birthplaces and the headquarters of such world-famous and renowned companies such as Swarovski, Lamborghini, and Land Rover. As soon as we stepped through the doors of Lamborghini, I was blown away! It was amazing to see how efficient a handmade production line could be.

This abroad trip was a very special one; from the beginning of our trip it was apparent our group was a special one. It was amazing how close we all got within the three weeks we were abroad. The entire program was such an amazing experience that allowed us to all see and learn so much, in such a short amount of time and leaving Europe was so hard. Not only because of how wonderful it was to travel, but because of saying goodbye to all of the new friends created. Overall, this program was run amazingly and an experience I will get to cherish and remember for the rest of my life and I am so thankful I had the opportunity to be a part of the European Business Seminar.
