Lauren Farish joined the Accounting & Business Law Department as a clinical assistant professor in August 2020. She will teach a variety of courses, including Intermediate Accounting, Advanced Cost Accounting and other tax-related courses.

After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Business Fellows and a Master in Taxation from Baylor University, Farish earned her CPA license while working for PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP (PwC) in the Dallas Industry Tax Practice. For the past six years, she has consulted in the preparation of tax provisions, specifically for large divestitures and separate financial statement filings with PwC. Farish continues as a senior manager with PwC, consulting on divestiture tax provision projects with the Dallas office.

As a Baylor legacy, Farish is excited to return to Waco and looks forward to enjoying all it has to offer, as well as supporting the Baylor Bears at every opportunity. Amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, she continues to be active with her lifelong church of First Baptist Dallas. Farish looks forward to finding a new church home in Waco and serving in the community.
