Scholarship: Don & Faith Martin CSD Schp

Information: The Don and Faith Martin Family Foundation Endowed Scholarship Fund in Communication Sciences and Disorders was established in 2013 by Don W. and Faith Duncan Martin, Jr. of Dallas, Texas.

Don Martin, Jr. earned a B.B.A. in accounting from Baylor University in 1981. He was a third generation Baylor graduate, following his father and grandfather. Faith Martin earned a B.S.Ed. degree from Baylor in 1981. She was the first female college graduate in her family. She went on to earn a master’s degree from Texas Woman’s University in 1985. Don and Faith have three children: Stephanie, Don Wade III and Grace.

Comments: Preference is given to students preparing for a career in speech pathology, have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and have demonstrated a passion for missions.

Criteria:  For graduate or Undergraduate Comm Sciences and Disorders majors.

Minimum GPA: The University requires a minimum GPA of 2.50; however, individual departments may have more stringent academic requirements.

Need/Merit: Based on need and/or merit.
