Scholarship: Dr JE Jackson Scholarship

Information: The David C. Ginn, M.D., Endowed Scholarship Fund was established by David C. Ginn of Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

David C. Ginn earned a B.S. degree magna cum laude from Baylor University in 1980. He earned a M.D. degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in 1984. David completed his residency in 1987 at Case West University Hospital and his fellowship in 1989 at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. David resides in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and is a member of the Baylor University Old Main Society.

Comments: All scholarship recipients must be enrolled full time (12-credits or more) for each semester in which the scholarship is awarded. Further, current Baylor students must be enrolled in at least three (3) PHI credit hours for each semester in which funds are awarded without special permission; incoming Baylor students must be enrolled in at least three (3) PHI credit hours their first semester at Baylor and have minimum of twelve (12) PHI credit hours by the end of their second year at Baylor 

Criteria:  For Undergraduate students in the Philosophy department.

Minimum GPA: 3.00

Need/Merit: Based on need and merit.
