Truett Seminary professor of preaching Dr. Joel Gregory, was inducted into Morehouse College's Martin Luther King Jr. Board of Preachers. The distinction is given by the historically black college to preachers who have contributed to the MLK's vision for peace and justice.
The Rev. Taylor Sandlin, pastor of Southland Baptist Church, is a true Texan and an Aggie. He was born and raised in Texarkana, where his parents still live. At Texas A&M, he earned a bachelor's in speech communication and met his wife, Alyson. They married two weeks after graduation, then Sandlin went on to earn his master of divinity from Baylor University's George W. Truett Theological Seminary.
