In November 2015, Trenia L. Cooper joined the Title IX Office as a case manager. Trenia’s responsibilities include managing the daily files and case load of the Title IX Office, working with students to offer support, provide referrals to community resources, and assist them to the extent possible to ensure their success at Baylor. She also helps students prioritize their needs if requested. Most importantly, Trenia empowers and encourages the students during the Title IX process.
Prior to joining Baylor, Trenia worked 15 years with Methodist Children’s home as a direct care staff and was promoted to Intake Coordinator. She is a Licensed Master of Social Work (LMSW), received her MSW at Texas A&M Commerce and BSW at the University of Mary-Hardin Baylor.
