| Amanda was the winner of the 2008 Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival Region VI Dramaturgy Award. She attended the national festival at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., where she participated in workshops with nationally recognized professional dramaturgs. Her original work on Jon Jory's Pride and Prejudice was purchased by Actor's Theatre of Louisville for use in their 2008 production. |
| Amanda spent the first two years of her undergraduate career at McLennan College, where she earned her Associate's Degree in Theatre with High Honors. |
