How I Connect...]
[ANTHONY CARILLO]Since coming to Baylor, Anthony has discovered a passion for art direction and set design. He puts his talents to use creating cutting-edge backdrops and sets for many Campus Programs. This experience complements his role as a Sing Chair for his fraternity and as a member of Baylor Showtime!, one of Baylor's premier academic performing ensembles. He hopes to parlay his well-rounded skill-set into a career in performance and visual presentation.
Anthony's Connection Points:
[JENNE BLACKBURN]Inspired by a Baylor Student Ministry expedition to Kenya, Jenne returned to Baylor emboldened and committed to helping those less fortunate. She formed her own non-profit and has since spearheaded successful campaigns to raise money and awareness for children she met in Africa. This experience has made her a natural choice for other leadership positions including Missions Week Co-Director and a Sing Chairman for her sorority. Jenne is also a radio commentator for Lady Bears volleyball and a Baylor sports photographer.
Jenne's Connection Points:
[MATTHEW PIERCE]Finance major and BIC-student Matt Pierce has an academic record that would make any parent proud. Amazingly, his philanthropic record is just as impressive. Matt has recognized numerous opportunities to partner with various student organizations to promote his own fraternity's philanthropy for Ugandan children. By joining forces with other student organizations, he provides other student groups with the workforce needed to pull off large scale events while securing funds and publicity for a cause close to his own heart.
Matthew's Connection Points:
[TAYLOR McCABE]A communication specialist with a passion for music photography, Taylor documents numerous concert events providing him with a valuable opportunity to build his own portfolio. He is taking full advantage of Student Activities' many musical programs to practice his craft, in preparation for life as a full-time photographer. Taylor serves as a leader in the Campus Programs Creative Services office, where he recently shot the images for the Uproar Records CD.
