Student Body President

The Office of the Student Body President

The Student Body President is the chief executive officer of Student Government and the official spokesman of the Baylor student body to all Baylor constituencies, the public and media, and other colleges and universities. This position also advises Class Officers and the rest of the executive branch.

Dominic Edwards

Dominic Edwards is a senior Marketing major with a Pre-Law Concentration. Dominic served as a Student Senator for two years, the 2012-2013 Student Senate Public Relations Chair and Student Government Branding Coordinator, and the 2013-2014 Student Body Internal Vice President and President of Student Senate. Moreover, Dominic has served as a student representative on the All-University Student Life and Services Committee, the Sustainability Committee, and two Executive Search Committees. Currently, he serves as a seasoned member of the Honor Council. Dominic has passionately served in Student Government and is looking forward to serving as the Student Body President.

Dominic earned his diploma in 2011 from James Bowie High School in Arlington, Texas. He is a first generation Baylor Student and is proud to start a new Baylor tradition in his family.
