What is Santa's Workshop?

Santa's Workshop is an event that brings children from the Waco community on campus to receive a gift and to have a visit with good ol' Saint Nick. The children range in age from 3-5, and for many of them, this will be the only gift that they receive for Christmas.
How can you be involved with Santa's Workshop?
Donate toys for children ages 3-5 (no battery-operated toys, please!)
Donate money (make checks out to Baylor University) and drop it off at the Student Activities Office
Volunteer the night before the event to decorate and wrap gifts
Help on the day of the event by handing out gifts, spending time with children, or handing out food
Santa's Workshop
‘Twas the month before Christmas and all over BU
There were boxes filled with toys, unwrapped and brand new.
The staff, faculty and students filled each box high,
To bring joy to some children, ages three to five.
Each small gift they had purchased for under five bucks,
But please none that need batteries-like those walk and talk ducks.
For those who couldn't bring toys, money will be accepted
All donations should be in by November 28th
If you want to help out, contact the people below
You'll enjoy a day of hope and fun, so don't miss the show.
So drop the toys off here, it will be quite a sight,
Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night!
