Baylor student presents invited talk at national conference

Statistics PhD Candidate Gabriel Odom was awarded an NSF travel scholarship to attend the Quality and Productivity Research Conference held at University of Connecticut. In an invited session titled, "Multivariate Statistical Process Control for Decentralized Wastewater Treatment Facilities,” he gave a talk on a portion of his PhD work on multi-state multivariate process monitoring. He is expected to complete his research this summer, and this fall he will begin a postdoctoral associate position at the University of Miami’s Department of Public Health Sciences, Division of Biostatistics.
