Why should students get involved in Urban Missions?

Serving in Urban Missions is a great way to connect with other students while getting to know the Waco Community. I believe that God calls us to love our neighbor and Urban Missions is one way that students can do that while they are at Baylor.

What's that one thing that led you to be a part of Baylor Missions?

I wanted to be associated with the "love where you live t-shirts."

What book or books are you reading right now?
I'm reading Journey to the Common Good by Walter Brueggemann and War and Peace by Tolstoy. Ask me again in a few months and I'll still be reading War and Peace.

What book or books have most influenced your spiritual growth?

What is the best movie you've seen in the past year?
The Book Thief (but read the book first) I also recently watched the documentary Happy, which was interesting.

What is your favorite movie of all time and why?
Umm i'm not great at favorites. I really liked the Sandlot and Newsies growing up.

When you go to your coffee house of choice, what do you order?
black coffee

What is favorite place to go in Waco?
Anywhere I can read a good book or have a meaningful conversation with a good friend.

If you could go anywhere in the world right now, where would you go?

ummm see above answer and add an awesome background (like Canadian mountain range or sunflower fields in Tuscany).
