Tuesday, September 18th

3:00-4:00 pm: Dr. Pepper Hour at Barfield

Second floor of the SUB

Join Baylor Missions as they host this week’s Dr. Pepper Hour. Discover ways you can be involved with all Baylor Mission opportunities and find out more about Be the Change week.

12:15-1:15pm: Free Student Ministry Luncheon

BOBO Spiritual Life Great Room

Join keynote speaker Amy Sherman and other students in a free conversation driven luncheon to pursue any topics you may have regarding your Christian vocation. RSVP to Adam_Velez@Baylor.edu if you would like to attend.

3:00-4:00pm: Free Coffee Talk with Mission Practicioners

Common Grounds

Meet on a more personal basis with one of our various guest mission practicioners to go deeper into conversation about how you can incorporate your vocation into your field of study, recognizing that to be a fulfillment of God's calling in your life. 5:30-7:00pm: Free Pizza with a Mish

Share dinner with one of our guest mission practicioners. This will be hosted by Resident Chaplins, so be sure to communicate with yours for more information.

7:00-8:30pm: Keynote Speaker Address--"When Your World Meets the World"

Kayser Auditorium

Come hear guest Amy Sherman expound upon what it means to approach Kingdom Living by reconciling your gifts, talents, and abilities with your calling as a Christian. Based on her book Kingdom Calling, Amy Sherman will further relate what a Christian Vocation means for your specific discipline of study.

Join us as we engage our individual strengths and abilities and discover how they relate to our Christian Vocation. We will then share ways to best implement them in correlation with our "Kingdom Calling."

7:00-10:00pm: Global Village: Celebrating Culture*

Park outside the SUB

The purpose of Global Village is to celebrate cultures around the globe. To engage students in various cultures represented we hope to offer dance, clothing, recipes, food, music, language and a few other activities giving you a quick, but exciting picture of the very diverse world we share.

8:30-10:00am: Embrace your Call Prayer & Commitment Breakfast

SUB Den

Join us as we unite to pray for our personal callings and for the holistic work of the mission of God globally. This will also be a time to reconcile everything shared throughout the week and learn what your next step is in living a life of mission.
