Davis, Ph.D., assistant professor of educational psychology in Baylor's School of Education and co-author of the study, gives tips on how to decipher research on autism treatments. "The engagement level of the students has increased significantly," Principal Christopher Eberlein(MSED '01 Educational Administration; MS '91 Educational Psychology) said. "Students are eager to learn and wanting to come to school."

WACO, Texas (Nov. 6, 2012) The Baylor Autism Resource Center (BARC) will host a fundraiser from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 8, at Rosa's Café, 4200 Franklin Ave. To participate in the fundraiser, patrons can either dine-in or use the drive-thru at Rosa's Café and must present a BARC fundraiser flyer at the time of purchase to the cashier.
The Baylor Lariat Waco Independent School District, the City of Waco and Baylor University are collaborating with other local organizations to create a new community-wide position that will tackle poverty in Waco: the chief administrative officer for community and family outreach. The chosen person will also need to have experience in working with families and communities that are impoverished, said Jon Engelhardt, the Dean of the School of Education at Baylor.
