What is an MOA?
The MOA we create is a memorandum of agreement between Baylor University HHPR and your interning agency. This agreement is used to establish a mutual understanding of the responsibilities, expectations, and restrictions for the intern, Baylor, and the agency.
Our Office of General Counsel will create an agreement, send it to the Provost for approval, and send two original copies to the agency.
The agency must sign both, keep one for their records, and return the other in the mail, as all signatures must be originals.
Once Baylor has the signed original back, the agreement becomes "fully executed."
This legal process takes time!!!
You may not register for your internship without a fully executed MOA.
