Philosophy of Teaching at Baylor:
The purpose of teaching is to develop an environment that stimulates student's thinking and creative production. The Baylor context provides a Christian setting where student and faculty can engage in respectful, yet intellectual conversations about concepts that are important to a life of service.
Research Interests:
My research interests relate to assessment of special populations, program evaluation, standards in teaching, and teacher education, including educational reform and the growth of teacher expertise.
