Financial Aid & ScholarshipsThere are Graduate Assistantships (GAs) available to support full-time Ed.D. students. GAs often assist professors with research, teach courses in Baylor’s teacher education program, or otherwise work in one of Baylor’s Professional Development Schools. Stipends are competitive with what is offered by other leading universities.
In addition to stipends, GAs receive a significant portion of each semester’s tuition as scholarship. In addition to Baylor-funded GA positions, numerous faculty have received grants that support GAs. We encourage potential Ed.D. students to contact faculty within their field of interest to see if grant-funded GA positions will be open in that area.
GA positions are competitive and require an additional review process beyond what is required for admission to the Graduate School.
Partial tuition scholarships are available to part-time Ed.D. students. These scholarships make the cost of Baylor’s Ed.D. in Curriculum & Instruction program competitive with other programs at both public and private universities throughout the nation.
For more information on the application and review process for all GA positions, and information about scholarships, please contact Dr. Tony L. Talbert, Graduate Program Director, (254)710-7417.
