Agency Mission/Services:
Providence DePaul Center's mission is to care for the whole person-body, mind, and spirit. It is a free standing, inpatient psychiatric hospital. Clients served range in age from 5 years through senior adulthood. Services provided include individual therapy, family therapy, and group counseling for all age groups.

Opportunities:
Baccalaureate/MSW Foundation: Completion of basic needs assessment with clients, participation in various group counseling sessions, case management (assistance with placements, community resource referrals, etc)

MSW Concentration: Completion of comprehensive psychosocial assessment with clients, care planning to address the multidisciplinary needs of the client, facilitation of various group counseling sessions, case management (assistance with placements, community resource referrals, etc) and individual and family therapy.

Agency Hours:
Psychosocial staff work 7 days per week from 8:00am-4:30pm

Training Required:
Yes, an all day orientation program must be attended at Providence Health Center. This program is only held on Mondays. Specific orientation to the Providence DePaul Center and units with the Providence DePaul Center can be arranged to accommodate the intern's schedule.
