Arts & Humanities Faculty Research Program
OBJECTIVES
The Arts and Humanities Faculty Research Program (AHFRP) is designed to stimulate research, scholarship and creative activities, and promote development of the arts, fine arts, humanities, and education graduate research programs within Baylor University.

Award amounts are contingent upon need; however, few awards will exceed $2000. Faculty in need of additional funding should consider applying to the University Research Committee.

ELIGIBILITY
All full-time faculty regardless of all academic rank may apply. Projects may not be under consideration or funded by the University Research Committee (URC) at the time of application, and only one application per project may be processed at any one time.

DEADLINES
Applications are accepted year-round, but please allow 60 days between your application and your desired project start date.

FUNDING LIMITATIONS
Limited program funds preclude continuous or long-term funding of an individual research agenda. Arts & Humanities Faculty Research Program funding for any principal investigator is limited to no more than $4,000 over five fiscal years.

The Arts & Humanities program should not be used as a substitute for the URC or other funding programs. Click here for more information on the URC grant program.
