Purpose

In August, 2006, a contract between Baylor and E & I Cooperative through OfficeMax Solutions was implemented to provide desktop delivery of office supplies, including paper and fax/printer toner cartridges. By taking advantage of consortium pricing through E & I, Baylor was able to decrease the overall cost of office supplies by 2%, as well as negotiate a $25,000 signing bonus and a 2% annual rebate on the cost of goods sold.
