SWURP Concentration - Obstetrics & Gynecology


Research interests include preeclampsia, cellular signaling pathways related to gynecologic cancers, reproductive technologies including fertilization in vitro, embryo and ova cryopreservation, embryo culture and oocyte maturation, effects of protein supplements on embryo development and gene expression in vitro, and the effects of vaginal delivery on pelvic organ support and measurement of fetal growth using ultrasound. Treatment of hormone withdrawal symptoms in patients and female urologic conditions such as interstitial cystitis are also of interest.
