Baylor University's theatre arts department will feature "Fuddy Meers," David Lindsay-Abaire's award-winning dark comedy, at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 1 through Dec. 5, and at 2 p.m. Dec. 5 and Dec. 6, in Mabee Theatre at the Hooper-Schaefer Fine Arts Center on the Baylor campus.

Directed by Dan Buck, "Fuddy Meers" follows the life of Claire, who lives with a rare form of amnesia that resets her mind every morning when she wakes up. Through the cast of colorful characters, Claire searches for self and realizes that everything is not what it appears to be.

"Fuddy Meers" premiered in 1999 and earned the John Gassner Memorial Playwriting Award, an award that fosters new playwrights and scripts. The award was established by Molly Gassner, wife of theater historian John Gassner.

Erin Hill, a senior performance studies major from Carrollton, will star as Claire; Adam Garst, a junior performance studies major from Sugar Land, as Millet; and Matt Tolbert, a senior performance studies major from Rowlett, as Richard.

Tickets are $15 for the general public and $12 for students, faculty and staff with a Baylor ID. There are a limited number of tickets available at the Hooper-Schaefer Fine Arts Center box office or online at www.baylor.edu/theatre.

For more information, contact the box office at (254) 710-1865 or visit the theatre arts department.
