Baylor University's Institute for Faith and Learning will present a film and discussion on the documentary "Did Darwin Kill God?" at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 4, in Kayser Auditorium in the Hankamer School of Business on the Baylor campus.

The event, which is free and open to the public, will feature the film's writer Dr. Conor Cunningham, lecturer in the department of theology and religious studies at the University of Nottingham in Nottingham, United Kingdom.

Cunningham is a Christian, who believes in the theory of evolution. The hour-long British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) documentary is based on Cunningham's research and the book he authored, Darwin's Pious Idea. He has written several books, including Belief and Metaphysics, Suspending the Natural Attitude and Transcendence and Phenomenology.

Cunningham is currently writing Evolution for a series called Interventions. The series will evaluate Ultra-Darwinism, naturalism and will examine Darwin's theory of evolution.
