Stephen Sims started the PhD program at Baylor in the fall of 2010. He received his Bachelor's in Liberal Arts from Thomas Aquinas College in 2010. Before entering the program, Stephen has worked in cooking, landscaping, and groundskeeping. His primary field is political theory with a secondary field in international relations. He is interested in the relation of poetry, philosophy, and politics; classical political thought, especially Aristotle and Cicero; how the religious experience and theology inform the political structure; and Nietzsche and Hume.
