Gifts to Baylor University Political Science DepartmentWe awarded our first PhD in 2009, and since to date we have granted a total of 23 doctoral degrees. Our graduates are teaching in colleges and universities throughout the country. There are many exciting developments in the political science department. The number of our undergraduate majors, in both political science and international studies, continues to grow. Our long-established Model UN team continues to flourish in national competitions, and an undergraduate moot court team has recently started competing - and placing - in the Texas Undergraduate Moot Court Association's competitions. The department has also established a pre-law track for its majors interested in preparing for law school. Our doctoral program, established in the fall of 2005, has grown to over 20 students (with some of the highest GRE scores at Baylor), and we awarded for our first PhD in December, 2009.
