Parents Weekend is the perfect opportunity for you to come and experience the community your Sons and Daughters experience on a daily basis. Spend the afternoon experiencing a Dr Pepper hour while strolling underneath one of the many historic oak lined pathways. Or take a guided tour of the campus and learn some history of the oldest and in our minds the greatest University in Texas, which has been impacting the state and in time the nation since it was first chartered by the Republic of Texas back in 1845. Or perhaps spend a morning personally meeting your student's faculty over a cup of coffee or maybe a lunch with the University's President and the live bear mascots. Maybe showing some school spirit is an ideal afternoon for you, and if that's the case then perhaps an afternoon of tailgating at Floyd Casey before catching the Baylor Bear's first Big 12 conference opener against Iowa State is more your style.

Regardless of how you may choose to spend the weekend, just make sure you choose to spend it with your student here in Texas' heart, at Baylor University.
