Dr. Sloan's plenary lecture, which begins at 6:30 p.m. Friday evening is titled, "Vile Atrocities: Voices from the Texas Liberators of World War II Concentration Camps Oral History Project." On Saturday morning, he will lead a workshop focusing on organizing and funding oral history projects and on interviewing techniques.

Filling out the workshop on Saturday afternoon will be a session on digitization technology for archiving oral history and a symposium featuring oral history research in the South Texas region.
