MICHELLE HOLLAND, our editor since 2009, polishes our transcripts before they are deposited in the Baylor Libraries system. She is a product of the Institute, having worked here while earning her bachelor's and master's degrees in American Studies from Baylor. She originated Living Stories, public radio segments inspired by stories in our oral history collection, and she is the primary author of the programs, which air weekly on KWBU-FM. Michelle is also the originator and principal interviewer for an oral history project titled "Waco Broadcasting History," which highlights pioneers in local radio and television. Her main interests lie in twentieth-century American history, particularly in pop culture from the 1920s through the 1960s.
