First-year students who do not attend New Student Orientation in June will attend a 1-day Orientation on Wednesday, August 21. Orientation offers a variety of sessions to help you become familiar with opportunities and resources available to you as a Baylor Bear. Guests are invited to attend along with students.

Can family members attend Orientation with me?
Absolutely! Guests are encouraged to join students for all parts of Orientation.
Do I move in to my residence hall early if I am here for Orientation?
Students are not able to move in prior to their regularly scheduled move-in date and time. Click here for the Move2BU website and more information about moving into your residence hall.
Is there a cost to attend Orientation?
No, there is no cost for students or for guests.
Will I register for fall semester classes at Orientation?
Students will register for classes before Orientation. If you have not registered for fall classes, click here and select "Alternate Advising" to begin the course registration process.
