Piano Alumni

The professional accomplishments of keyboard graduates from Baylor provide a long and impressive record. Among the early graduates of Baylor's keyboard program are Dr. Irl Allison (A.B. 1915), founder of the National Guild of Piano Teachers; Dr. Robert A. Markham (A.B. 1924), chairman of the Baylor organ department for more than forty years; and Dr. Isabel Scionti (B.M. 1932; Ph.D. 1945), concert pianist, former piano faculty member at the University of North Texas, and independent piano teacher. Successful alumni of the past three decades are mentioned later in this brochure.
