Degree Programs

A fully accredited member of the National Association of School of Music, Baylor offers a Master of Music degree with the following concentrations:

PhD Church Music
DMA Church Music
MM Church Music
MM Composition
MM Conducting (orchestral, band, or choral)
MM Music Education
MM Music History and Literature
MM Music Theory
MM Performance (all orchestral instruments, keyboard, voice)
MM Collaborative Piano
MM Piano Pedagogy and Performance

Other programs of study include:

Dual Master of Divinity/Master of Music in Church Music in conjunction with George W. Truett Theological Seminary, which provides students with extensive grounding in theology as well as advanced study in music
Advanced Performer's Certificate (non-degree) in either piano or organ, intended for students who demonstrate a potential to establish a career as a performing artist.
