Expert to Speak About Life and Work of Michelangelo Nov. 9

Dr. William Wallace, an internationally recognized expert on Michelangelo, will speak about the life and work of Michelangelo at 3 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 9, in Room 149 of the Hooper-Schafer Fine Arts Center at Baylor University.
Wallace is an art history professor at Washington University in Saint Louis, Mo. His most recent book about the painter, "Michelangelo in San Lorenzo; the Genius as Entrepreneur," was published in 1994. The book received an Outstanding Academic Book Award in 1995 from Choice, a journal for the review of scholarly books.
Wallace edited a five-volume book titled "Michelangelo; Selected Scholarship in English," which is the collection of essays in English scholarship about the painter.
