Baylor Health Professor to Speak in Chapel-Forum Sept. 11

Dr. Richard Couey, professor of health, human performance and recreation at Baylor University, will speak during Baylor University's Chapel-Forum at 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 11, in Waco Hall.

Couey, a fitness and nutrition expert, has published several books including "Lifelong Fitness and Fulfillment," "Nutrition For God's Glory" and "A Call to Wholeness." Couey has also had articles published in magazines such as Mature Living, Recreation Magazine and Texas Coach.

Couey has conducted physical fitness workshops at more than 200 churches, as well as conducted and designed physical fitness programs for several police and fire departments throughout the United States. He also led several workshops throughout Texas concerning physical fitness needs for handicapped persons.
