Baylor Mourns Death of Student Over Holiday Break

Baylor University is mourning the loss of a student over the Christmas break. Bethany Jordan Perales, a freshman pre-business major from San Antonio and a member of the Leadership Academy at Baylor, died Dec. 27 from injuries sustained in an auto accident near Amarillo.

Bethany is survived by her parents, Ruben and Irma Perales; grandparents, Soledad and Fernando Garza, and Consuelo and Ruben Perales; sister, Rabekkah Lauren Perales; and brother, Ruben Armani Perales. Please keep the Perales family and Bethany's friends in your prayers.

Funeral services were held this morning at Community Bible Church in San Antonio.
