Baylor University's annual Fiesta on the River will be held from 6 to 10 p.m. Thursday, March 27, in Minglewood Bowl and along the Waco Creek. This year's sponsors are A Place 2 BU, the Hispanic Student Association, Student Involvement, and a new Hispanic student organization, M.E.Ch.A. Baylor student organizations will participate in this traditional event, which began in 1988 and evokes San Antonio's century-old Fiesta.

This year's event will feature an array of booths by various student clubs and organizations.

Live entertainment will include a Mariachi band, a ballet performance and the Baylor Dance Force, formerly the Baylor Song Leaders. The fiesta also will include authentic Mexican food, fresh baked goods and treats.

In case of rain, the event will be held Thursday, April 3.
