Art Quilt Magazine Editor To Lecture Oct. 9

Lynn Lewis Young, editor of Art/Quilt Magazine, will lecture at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 9, in room 149 of the Hooper Schaefer Fine Arts Building on the Baylor University campus. The lecture is free and open to the public.

Young has been involved in quilting since 1977 and served as a juror for the International Quilt Festival and Quilt Visions 2002. She will discuss the art quilt and also will present a slide show on the Katherine Watts collection of quilts. The Watts collection was designed and created by Louisiana artist Anna Williams and is one display through Oct. 12 in Baylor's Martin Museum of Art.
