Baylor Alumni By Choice to be Honored Saturday

The Baylor Alumni Association will welcome seventy-five new Alumni By Choice at a noon luncheon on Saturday, September 30, at the Hughes-Dillard Alumni Center.

The association initiated the Alumni By Choice (ABC) program in 1986 as a way of recognizing Baylor staff, friends, and family who love and support the university, but who did not graduate from Baylor.

Baylor president Dr. John Lilley will present each recipient an alumnus or alumna "by choice" certificate, and Merrie Beckham of Dallas--the first ABC recipient and wife of C. T. "Sparkey" Beckham '49--is a perennial favorite as the featured speaker.
