James C. McKeown, professor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, will speak at 3 p.m. Friday, April 19, in Armstrong Browning Library's Treasure Room on the Baylor University campus. The lecture is sponsored by the Baylor classics department.

McKeown received his doctorate from Cambridge in 1978. He has numerous publications including Ovid's Amores, as well as articles of Latin poetry.
