Classics Department To Host Guest Lecture March 21

The Baylor University classics department will host guest lecturer Duane W. Roller, professor of Greek and Latin at the Ohio State University at Lima, who will speak on "Romans On The Desert Front: The Imperial In Northwest Africa" at 3 p.m. Thursday, March 21, in the Beckam Room in the Bill Daniel Student Center.
Roller received his bachelor's degree in letters and a master's degree in Latin from the University of Oklahoma and a doctorate in classical archaeology from Harvard University. He has published several books, including Early Travellers in Eastern Boiotia and his most recent book, The Building Program of Herod the Great.
