Jan. 10, 2002

by Colin M. Witt

More than 300 Baylor alumni and friends were on hand in Waco Thursday evening, Jan. 10, for the first of many town hall meetings centered around Baylor 2012, Baylor's 10-year vision.

The event was sponsored by the Baylor Alumni Association, and was the first event to be held in the new Truett Seminary facility, which opens for spring classes Jan. 14.

It was the first of many events designed to open a dialog with alumni about the priorities the University has set for the coming 10 years. Within the course of a decade, Baylor intends to enter the top tier of American universities while reaffirming and deepening its distinctive Christian mission.
